In September Ten Thousand were given the keys to Allan Eaton Studios and went in to record their debut album. The band brought in their mobile studio and set up for 9 days tracking 15 songs. Allan Eaton studios is located in the heart of bohemian St Kilda in Melbourne, Australia and has a rich history amid claims that it is haunted and has been used to record orchestras and scores for countless films such as Warlock, The Truman Show, Babe, Shine & Two Hands.
The band engineered & produced the record themselves and recorded relentlessly day and night tracking the record live in the massive studio. Mati Kay was given 24/7 access and was on hand to photograph and film the entire process. Released here is the candid gallery of photos taken from those sessions.
